Does anyone know the pros and cons to putting smaller tires ona 200X. I have ballon 22" Dunlops and I would like to put a much smaller tire on. What is the smallest I can go? Will I lose significant top-end speed. I would like to be able to have a little more low end rev for pitching it out. I know its no 250R but is there opportunity for low end spin with smaller tires?

I put 20x10-9's on my 86 200x, and i LOVE THEM. They look so much better, and the handling of the bike is wayy better, and yes i can spin the tires more around corners, and I noticed NO top end speed loss. Look at my pic <-------- those are the 20x10-9's

I had a friend that had a 200x years ago, when he got the bike it had 22" tires. then he put some 16/6.5/8 holeshots he lost some top end but, that bike was fun to ride it would slide alot, and was alot quicker. I have 18/11/10 on my 250r its fun. You should go with the 16's.
