I heard one guy do it and he said he loved it; pros and cons? Any opinions? I think I can get some cheap, so I think this would be a good place to start for suspension mods if you guys think it's a good idea.

This may not be exactly what you are wanting to know but will give you some comparison. My brother put a 350x front end on an 82 250R. Mainly because he had all the brake hardware for the 350x and the triple tree was messed up on the 250R. The 350x forks made the front end of the 250R stand about 4 inches higher which wasn't a good thing on the 250R. He lowered the forks threw the triple tree more and got the 250R sitting about right but it took away alot of the suspension travel on the front end. It works good for dune ridding but not the best for agressive trail ridding. I think the 200x would be kind of the same ..... all the parts would fit but the 350 front end would raise the front end too much.

No offense to Muddy (The fella who did it) but unless you run a 350X rear shock.....dont put 350X front forks on. Looks really bad in my opinion...not to mention the handling problems youd notice.

i believe 83-84 250r forks will fit with no mods. it has a little more travel.

yeah, but I don't want it sitting so high in the front either, like they said. If the 250r forks are going to raise it that much like the x I prolly won't do it. Will they? I do some hill climbing and a much taller front end would shift the center of gravity rearward. In short I'd end up on my ass. Thanks for the info guys.

The 350x forks are a little longer, but unlike the 200x the headtube shaft runs parallel to the forks so it adds about 2" to the height and 2" to the overall length of the trike(so no chopper look). Adding to the font only probably isn't a good idea but I've added an extended swingarm and an extended axle and the only changes I've noticed in the ride performance is all positive. Not to mention it climbs like a billygoat and railroad track are a breeze.

As far as the looks of the modifications id say its up to you to decide what looks good and what looks "really bad"

Hey Rob I'm gonna have to agree with Muddy on this one. That looks pretty sweet dude, good job. Though I think it'd look better with the 200x headlight just because it's a 200x. I dunno if I'll do it though still. It depends on how much I like this bike after I get it running perfect. It ran okay today, but it seems to be lacking the balls I'm looking for. We'll see how it all goes as it comes along. And Muddy, did you make those mudflaps? Or where did you get them?
