I just had the phase 2 of the wrench report done to my tri-z cylinder and head. I gave the guy a crappy head to do cause I wanted to see how it would come out before I use a good head. Well he said that cause there was so much pitting in the head he cut it 1 full MM as opposed to the
.76 MM the wrench report calls for. He reshaped the dome and squish band and made it beautiful. He said that it has a 20cc dome and will probally have 11.5 to 12:1 compression. I don't know what kinda cranking psi it will have. Can that be right though? Does a 20cc head raise the compression to 12:1 even with the exhaust port raised 2 MM? Does anybody else know what compression the phase 2 of the wrench report brings the tri-z at when it is done excatly as said. I would really appreciate any help. Also here are some pictures of the head. The reflection and the way I am holding it make the squish band look uneven but believe me it is dead even. Thanks Denn
