Well today I was woke up by my buddies coming over to show off their new quad, and asking if I wanted to ride. I of course declined because my X was down, but they asked if I could come help them adjust the valves on the new (to him) '93 Warrior the kid got for $1,100.00. The valves were fine, and the cam chain fine too, but it makes a lot of cam noise (warrior motors are super easy to work on). so they went riding I traveled home, on my way I home stopped and talked to a guy with a 1984 Yamaha 200 of some sort, with no rear suspension. I rode it too, and boy was it fun! Slow, but still fun, especially on the ice. So I went home, put my X together, started her up, and went riding. I didn't care about the axle bearings, I just rode. I cought up with my friends and we went out and got all muddy. I raced the .040 warrior with a pipe and a mild cam. It had no chance. We did race on slushy snowy ground with a lot of mud. I had the stock tires, and he had blackwaters. I just up shifted untill i got traction and smoked him bad. We wanted to race on pavement also. On the way there the kid riding the warrior got it stuck in tree branches, and somehow broke the caliper mount right off the carrier. I went home and cleaned up and had 2 calls on the X, both trned down. Then the guy with the Yamaha 200 came over and gave me a # to a palce that makes bearings, and they would be about $25.00 for the two I need on the axle. So if a guy who was sierousley interested in the X doesn't buy it, I think I'll try and fix her.
