Carb Question

[MN250R]

Was there a major difference in carbs between the 85 atc 250r and the 86 atc 250r? I tend to get a bog till i get into the rpms, usually around 1/8 to 1/4 throttle. im thinking the pilot jet may be rich. I think i read a while back that the 86 carb was better cause of the slide, but im not sure. would that affect the problem im having you think?
