Ok, well I have the topend of my tri-moto 175 apart.
How can I tell now whether the crank seals are bad?
Some people said that when its running it will burn some of the trans oil.
But I can't test that cause I dont have the topend together. Anyone have an Idea?

you could just replace them or you could just wait till you get it together to find out if it needs them

Yeah I would just change them, but I dont want to have to split the cases.

You HAVE to split the cases. Because you won't be able to pull them out, cause the crankshaft will prevent you from getting anything behind them. Yep, you have to take the whole traany apart, take the crank out, BIG pain in the rump  . They are only about $7 a piece from your dealer.I would just leave them in there. ;)
