Anybody else going? I just got back driving up to Wiseco to pick up a piston kit for my TriZ cylinder I got yesterday. I intend to have it race ready for the weekend. Saturday is short track aka flat track. They have a designated trike class. Sunday is MX with no deignated trike class, but they said theyd make one if enough of us show. Ive emailed for race times, and am waiting for a response. This is in Galion, Ohio.

I still plan on going Sunday for MX. Just got my tethered kill switch and number plate today. I emailed also, asking for times so I hope they are announced soon.

Well as long as I can get out of bed on Sunday, I'll make it. I was hoping it started a little later since I have a two hour drive from Dayton. Is the MX track difficult? From the pictures it doesn't look too bad.

I just got an email from Trike, and he will be there both days.

Ive never run their MX before, but if they use a similar track as the one they used in harescrambles, its very long and technical as MX tracks go, but they may shorten it for MX, and I have no idea how many laps they run or anything. Id say be prepared for some good old fashioned arm pump though.

Well that makes three, enough for a trike class to be established if they decide to. The website says you need at least three riders to establish a class. Anyway, I'll be on an '85 250R if you happen to see me before the racing begins.

It was a pleasure to meet you and your dada, Kryton! The afternoon actually got nice, and the sun came out. By 2nd moto, the mud turned into clingon peanut butter. I ended up taking 6th, and Nate took 3rd. Next one is May 22-23 but we will probbaly go to Herrick valley.

It was nice to meet you as well. Congrats on the 6th place in the second moto. Proabably should have stayed and raced the second moto, oh well. I may have to try MX again as well as racing short track. Too bad I don't live closer to Galion. Were those the official results for moto one we looked at, or was that just the list of who was racing in the big bore class?

For those of you who want to go out and race some quads, this is your chance. If you have any experience racing MX you should do well. I on the other hand have no experience at MX, but did manage to beat a few on my 250R thanks to a pile up near the start(Sorry Tim!!).

I read in the This vs That forum that a 250R would beat a Banshee, but it didnt mention Id have to take him out so you could beat him!

They totally messed up the scoring on the first moto that they had posted! Since it only counted for line position in the 2nd moto, I didnt make a big deal out of it. Only the 2nd moto counted for overall. I did manage to get it partially figured out, though. The guy on the Banshee got credit for somebody else's place. After we got untangle I passed him in the last lap, so he was 14th, I was 13th, and you were 12th.

I hope you enjoyed yourself and come back again! If nothing else, you got an education, and how realize how silly armchair racing and This vs That postings are in REAL racing!!!

They do have camping there so maybe next time some of us can go on Saturday afternoon, and stay the weekend.
