Got my new truck

I finally got a new truck after driving an old bronco II. Its a 2000 Dakota V-8, 4 WD, and its fully loaded. I have been wanting one of these for a while now but I didnt really have the money, and a friend of my dads found it at a ford dealership. I love it. Its bone stock and only has 34,000 miles. I can't wait to do some off roading with it. What do ya all think about it?

Hehe, your in the same boat I am. Just picked up a 97 Gmc with 34k on it myself.

Those dakotas go pretty well with the 318. You can get some meaty tires on there (Bfg M/'t's rock) and I think the max size on the dakota is like 265/75/16 with anything meaty. I put some 275's on the rear of an ex girlfreinds mom's 2wd dakota but I doubt they would clear on the front (plus, they were street tires). I haven't seen any of these lifted but I'm sure there are some kits out there to get the Ifs to clear some meat.

my dads friend has one jist like it lifted. reall nice. my cuz has one hit a cyote goin 80 and knocked the bumber off not hard to fix.
