You cant hone a nikasil sleeve can you? I dont think you can but just wanted to check.

it depends on the condition that it is in.

You can not bore it to the next over size, but if it is not scored, still round, it may be possible to use, I believe, a "ball" hone to clean off the leftover aluminum from the old piston. When I was looking for places to replate mine, I found that information on some companies website.

You cannot bore it for sure, but i belevie you can do a light hone but not so much to take the coating off, when i bought my mxz 670 it was blown and we thought it had nikasil sleeves so i was going to need new sleeves or cyl, but my luck i got the last year of just the normal cylinders
