,,,,,frame/swingarm etc. is primed and ready for paint. Now I just need to get reducer for the left over paint I have. This one is going to be painted the same as my flat tracker. It will also sport black plastic,,,thats right,TWINS. The frame/swingarm and a-arms had major reinforcement done to them. 1/4 steel for the gussets and swingarm plate and alot of double welds on the frame. This is going to be 90% stock for trails and trials.I will use the race blaster(LRD) when I want to annoy the neighbors and piss off everyone else around me.
Both Blasters are going to Haspin this yr,,no trikes. Heres some trailprotrailpro pics and what it will look like when painted.

Smokinwrench-The last pic was only to show what color the blaster will be.I'm painting the frame/parts as I type. The paint is drying,so I came in to make some dinner and check email and message brds. After I eat,I'm going back out to clearcoat everything.
Sunday or Monday I will start reassembling it.Both Blasters will have shocks and knobbies. I shoulda used this pic instead. picture this w/o the nice rims, nerfs,LRD exaust,#'s and stickers.

ITS ALIVE!!!!
I spent the last few nights in the garage putting the woods beast back together and finishing up a few other non atv related projects. The front bumper is custom made and I'm still waiting for a rear bumper to match the front. The bumper isnt 100% straight, It was molded to the original OEM bumper and it wasnt perfect to begin with.I'm thinking after the first few trees/rocks I hit,it will be straightened out in no time :) A friend of G-MAN is doing the fabricating and welding for me.
I did ride it around my yard and was amazed by how much stiffer it felt over a stock frame. It handled alot better to.I cant wait to see how it rides in the tight woods. With the steel plates and extra welding the frame is only 1 lb heavier than stock. The reinforced A-arms and swingarm add another 1/2 lb,and the bumper isnt light either. This blaster is built like a tank. I still have to buy an all black seatcover, new grips, and a few other things to make it look more like its partner. I cant afford another LRD exaust or Duncan rims right now :(

few more pics
The last pic is what I practice bicycling the blaster on.I can make it 1/2 way across before I lose my balance.I've had some nasty roll overs off of it too.If the ramp fit on my truck it would be going to Haspin.

ram lol ,dont get in my way.
The bumper is a few inches wider than stock and AC bumper. Its wide enough to deflect (small)trees off the outside front tire when making sharp turns.I get caught on trees alot when over shooting a turn. Now I will just plow trees down w/ the bumper before the tire or A-arm hits it. Still not much good on big trees. The top section can also be used for a grab bar when/if I get stuck. Its also a good platform for me to stand on when I get tired of the footpegs and seat.It also adds weight to the nose and allows me to go up steeper hills. As of right now I dont even want to scratch the new paint.I hope to ride it this weekend and test the new frame and swingarm in the rocks. If its gonna break,I want it to break before I go to Haspin.
I provided the OEM bumper and measurements and the welder used his imagination on the design.I like the way it looks. After looking at the pic for a few secs it looks like the outline of a flying saucer(just needs the little antenna on the top.
I was hoping to get more feedback on the bumper.Good or bad I can take it.
