well the wiring is from a 1986 trx and I'm using it on a 1984 125m motor

Completely different set ups. I don't think it will work. But you might be able to prove me wrong.

I do have both those schematics and there is quite a bit of difference.

whats the diffrence is there anyway to make it work that you see? I just want it to start is there anyway to bypass all the electrics and just go from the coil to the cdi to the switch?

Honda changed soo much stuff on the 86-87's. To me it would be easyier to make a wiring harness for the 84 rather than trying to retro fit the 86 one. If you need a 84 harness I might be able to help you out.

the only problem i have now is the cdi that I have has six wires and the one the diagram calls for only has 5. Is there any way to use the wiring from the old 110 motor? Or maybe combine the 2 together?

What the diagram shows off the 86 trx is that that sixth wire goes to reverse switch and reverse indicator light. It would be the one on the far right. There are two wires and four wires. It would be the furthest right in group with four wires. All the other wires in order from left to right hook to the same things on both CDI's. I'm not sure of the internal workings of the cdi's are the same but I would assume so.

Alright I did everything, and there is still no fire at all. I guess I'll have to try and find someone with a wire harness. Anybody have any other ideas?
