exhaust on my 250r

when i bought my 83 250r it had a dg performance type II muffler on it. is this stock and if not would it cause me to have to rejet the carb?

No it is not stock. On a 2 stroke the silencer makes no difference in jetting. The size of the silencer can make a difference in power delivery though. Short silencer = More bottom and midrange power
Longer silencer = Less bottom and midranger with more top end

well, we will see if this works

the one pic is how i had to haul the r 2 weekends ago. i built that rack when i worked in a weld shop. i have hauled all kinds of stuff on it. the r's tire would not sit on the rack so i had to put a board under it to support it. only had 3 miles to go so it was ok. we went riding at a buddies house and it ran the best it has since i have had it. unfortunately the front tire blew on me in 5th gear about half throttle. drove the pucker factor right up.

next is the hole in the tire. i knew the tire was getting bad but thought i had a little while yet
