plastic welder for fenders

i was at a yard sale sunday and saw a plastic welder. never put much thought into one but when i saw it i remembered all the zip ties in my fenders. has anyone ever messed with one of these? it is an airless plastic welder. $20 , icouldn't go wrong. i looked at their site and this particular unit goes for $200. we'll see what happens

i bought some of those plastic weld stick off ebay a few years back.. nope.. they didnt work work.. i ran some zip ties through and "welded" them.. the ties held and the weld didnt.. but they did look nice and clean from the top side.! if you just used the plastic weld..
