should i have play in 200x kick starter shaft???

on the kicker shaft there some play so in other words i can move it in and out about id say 1/4 inches or less, kicker does slip a little and it was leaking out of that area so i put a new seal in and havent seen if it still leaks. but i was wondering if my kicker shaft is suppose to have that much play or is theres a washer missing in there?

in need of swingarm bolt's nut.

You shouldn't have sie to side play meaning the shaft moves in and out. As for the kickstarter slipping most 200X's I know will jump a tooth here and there but if i skips and falls to the floor then the ratchet spring inside has lost its tension to hold the gears together.
