I am tearing down an 84 Tecate 250, but I am having trouble removing the pivot shaft from the swing arm and rear prtion of the motor. I did not have trouble getting the nut off, but the shaft seems to be stuck. Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Sounds like the neddle bearings are shot, If you can't smash it out with a large hammer and punch you'll have to resort to drastic measures. I've had to either grind the head of the bolt off and the threaded part left exposed after the nut is removed and sawzall the other parts of the bolt next to the motor then you can set it up in a press or drill press and deal with it. Spray it, soak it try to turn the bolt with a large bar on a socket back and forth and hit it hard first. Air chissels work wonder too.
