hey i was wonderin what kind of intake boot i can use instead of the stock boot. i wasnt sure if any of you have come across anything like this please let me know it would help me verymuch and if u do know of any can u tell me the way the manifold bends <such as is it the same does is curvemore the right donw um orwhat thanks for any help possisble im hoping to send pictures of my tri-z blaster and jus to let u know i did stomp a yfz 450 today

I know for sure that the boyesen radvalve of the earlier YZ 125 fit the
Z cylinder, so I would look on the parts fish and try to find
a suitable YZ 125 boot.
The cylinder on the Z is a 250 from the ´83 YZ 250, but without the
YPVS outlet Yamaha uses a smaller intake on the Z, so look for
125cc parts.

An intake boot off of an 83 IT250 will fit but the throat will be slighly larger. This will help accomodate an oversized carb if you ever decide you want one.

Also, an 88-92 YZ125 one should work(maybe) because the reeds are interchangeable.
