86 KXT Tecate

Does any one know where I can find a service manual for my 1986 KXT 250 Tecate? I recently bought from a guy who had it in storage for the past 6 years!!! I can't believe the shape it's in!!!! The bike is in perfect shape, there are no scraches any where on the bike, even on the plastic!!! I really would like to get this bike going, so if anyone could help me out I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

For the 86 you need 2 books. The 84-85 master manual and the 86 supplement. You could try e-bay. They show up there fron time to time.

Well I just made 2 copies of mine with my copy machine at work and might do some more. Then I am going to put them in a notebook. GIve me a shout in a week or so and I might be able to hook you up. I am currently moving so its all packed up right now.

I just bouight one too (an 86 tecate). maybe we can get together sometime and help each other out. might be like the blind leading the be\lind, but im not sure. lol. i live in elma, about 15 mins from you.

you can get a manual for the 85 kx250 and use that for the engine.....figured I let you guys know
