I'm new here and dont know the forum rules so I hope I can ask this. I'm wondering if $300 is a good price for a Honda 200 ATC? Some trashy guy at the flee market is selling it. It starts right up and has new tires on it. The only thing is the pull start cord hangs out about 4-5 inches, so it's a shorter pull. How hard is that to fix? I'd really like to buy this and fix it up nice. I've been wanting a toy for awhile and $300 is pretty cheap money! Are there any good sites on ordering factory parts or aftermarket? Thanks.

Depending on what model 200 it is: S, M, ES or regular 200. It may not even have front suspension & it definently will not have rear suspension.

None of the 200's are sporty so there is no aftermarket "performance" parts for them anymore, other than the trash Cobra Exhausts. Theres places to get stock or replacement parts like www.servicehonda.com or www.denniskirk.com or www.bikebandit.com

$300 isnt a horrible deal but I would spend the $200-$250 more and just buy a 200X (FUll suspension, quick, clutch).

Good luck

So unless it has a full suspension I shouldn't get it? Is it quick at all? I'm not hardcore into offroading, I just want something to mess around with.

I didnt say you shouldnt get it, I said you need to shop around.

Is it quick at all?

Well I think i'll be getting a new raptor or something for speed and real fun, but i need something cheap my girlfriend could "follow" me around on, and I wouldn't want a fast 3 wheeler anyway. i think i'll probably just get it and restore it. Is the pull start an easy fix?
