hub bolt patterns-how do i tell??

I bought some hubs for my 200x, and they don't fit the rims that came with my x, i wouldn't doubt it if they're not the right rims,
but i measured my hubs that came with the bike, and stud to stud it was 110mm.
however i thought 185 hubs were 130, and they only measured 95
and the hubs I bought for my 200x, were 95mm as well
I called the guy up and he said he bought them from a used parts place, he said they were off a 200x, and that they fit on his 200x rims.
I don't get it, i'm gonna keep the hubs, but I don't understand this.
oh, and the x hubs i bought won't fit in my 185 rim, i don't mean the pattern is different, they are just too big and won't fit inside the rim, can't get them anywhere near the bolt holes.

Are you sure of size of the hubs? Did you double check the measurements?
Do you have a picture of the hubs?

Maybe someone here can identify them from a picture.

I would remeasure, making sure you are measuring from the center of each bolt. I suspect they are 4/100 rims, and he had Blaster/TriZ hubs on his 200X, which will fit, though just a little loose. The next closest size is 4/85 like on the TRX90, but I dont know is those hubs would have fit a 200X.

they don't look like 200x hubs to me, but that's what he told me.
from center of stud, to center of stud, it's 90mm
the gray hub above is what came with my bike, i know it doesn't look like a regular 200x hub either, but i dunno.......

I can say without a doubt that none of the hubs are stock. They look more like a 185s hub ( silver ) and the blue ones look like 200sx ( quad ) hubs.

Also youre measuring them wrong in the picture. Go from one stud to the other across the center from it, and not the stud beside it.

I measured the blue "200sx" hubs, and going across the center from stud to stud, measuring from the center of the stud, they are 130mm. that is the same as 185s bolt pattern isn't it, the only problem is they won't even fit in my 185 rims. I payed 60 for the pair, should I try to take them back, or do you think i could make a few buck selling them on ebay?
also, those gray hubs in the pic, measure at 150mm, and are the same as what my dad has on his 200es.
looks like i'm gonna have to buy some more hubs, and a set of rims&tires for my x......$$$$$$ :TrikesOwn :rolleyes:
