As long as the frame is a 83-85 then it will be okay..so it isnt a 86 frame?

The 86 used box type tubing. Its not an 86.

Let's start off with the year of the frame first. It is a 1983 200x frame. No doubt about it. ;)

is there any differences beteween the 89-85 200x frames?

There is a lot of differences between the 89-85 frames. The biggest difference is the 89 200x was never made. lol
Ok, OK, enough ribbing. The 83 thru 85 frames will inner change with each other. So your safe if you need a frame for 83, 84, or 85 200x.
