Tri-moto 175 deathtrap .. Axle spacer questions

Ok I know the axle is not very wide on one of these.. I am gonna get some axle spacers and I was just wondering what would be a good width to widen the rear end?

I have a new/never used durablue +6 year axle for the YT175. Havent tried it yet, but it doesnt seem too big.

It seems that a +6 (3" on each side) axle is a pretty standard size for trikes. I'd go w/ that.

For short course racing, 50" was the maximum width allowed, most of the old axles bring the rear track out to that width.
