Close call just a short time ago.....

Our family went to Marion, Ind to vist a friend ( he had a cook out ). We had a fun time until it started raining pretty good. We loaded up everything and headed for home. We got about 10 miles down the road when a Tornado Warning came across the radio. They said a Tornado had been spotted 7-8 miles NE of Gas City, Ind. about 4 minutes earlier. I looked at my wife and said you know that is less than 2-3 miles ( behind us ) from where we were at at that time. I knew we were barely ahead of the storm and needed to get the heck outa there. I used quite a bit of gas from that point all the way home.
We got about 8 miles from home when they issued a Tornado Warning for our town. We ended up only getting some strong storms with a fair amount of rain. weww!! Too close for comfort. TimSr, Trike, and others to the East of me you have some bad weather heading your way. It will be there soon. ;)

we had a rather heavy storm roll thru soth west michigan also ,,, about 3 hours before you and i spoke howdy. we was just coming up from diving and crash , bang boom ,,,, heavy rain + wind + lightning.

no tornados though ,,,, just watchs for them.

Yup...that storm has hit us this morning. We are getting heavy rains and severe T-storm warnings for today...

Thanks guys!! FYI, I wanted to stick around and see everything. The wife isn't so daring. She told me to hammer it. lol

The Sun is shinning today. Hopefully I can get the trailer done so I cn take it to Haspin. If it doesn't get done I will be screwed.

my town got hit HARD tornado took out like 2/3 of a large trailor park trees down everywhere for about a half mile square a factory demolished and apartment building half leveled among other major damage
