anyone know if the plastics from an 85 250r would fit ok on an 83
any help would be great

you know ive never really thought about it! but im sure if it didn't fit you could make it work..just go on ebay and look for people parting out 83 R's im sure they are out there :)

no 85 wont fit on 83 with out alot of wokr

the front bolts right on, not sure about rear.

I'm assuming that the 85/86 250R plastic is discontinued by Honda...is that right? Maier is the only option (they have come a long way though)???

the 85/86 250r plastic is still available through honda, it is not discontinued.

Still available? You're kidding me! That's awesome. How bout the headlight shell and tank shrouds....what about the gas tank???

Last I knew the rear fenders were around $300, the shrouds were around $60 each, the tank is around $280, the front fender is around $100, and the headlight shell is around $100. You can go to CAL-ATV.com and get stuff alittle cheaper but the you have to pay shipping.

i know the front fender is discontinued for the 83/84's

i asked becouse i could buy the front and back maier plastics for the 85 cheap but i can never finde the 83
