i dont understand how tube less tires work. how do they? and can i do it myself??

tube less tires work by o rings in between the rims and they hold the air in and there easy to put in you just set the rubber ring on and put the bolts back on

Tubless tires have a bead that seals against the wheel lip. On 2 piece wheels, a new O-ring should be used between the 2 pieces to ensure a good seal.
Some tubless tires are not recommended for 2 piece wheels, check with manufacturer.
For tires that require tubes, some people have problems with the valves tearing. this is caused by tire/wheel slip. The most effective fix is an old drag racing trick. drill 6 or 8 holes through the wheel lip, and screw the tire securely! Of course you do not want to drill completely through the tire bead, or it will leak. 3/8" long or so screws work well.

I believe all ATV tires made today are tubeless. Some people just choose to use tubes in them, and as Mobular said, some older two piece rims just never seem to seal and have an inadequate bead sealing area on them as they wereent made with expectations of tubeless tires bieng used.
