86 T3 and 87 T4 ??

Just wondering whether the 87 Kawasaki Tecate 4 swinger will work on the 86 T3? I also need to know if 84 T3 hubs are 4/110 bolt pattern? Thanks.

Well I am pretty sure that the T-4 swinger wont work with the T-3. They change just about everything on that sucker. As far as the bolt pattern, the 85-87 had the 4/156 rears as the 84 has the 4/4" just like the KLT.

Thanks Scott. I noticed the shock mount was completely different but I didnt know if it could be modified to work. Anyone have an 86 T3 swinger theyd sell me?

Well now I didnt say it couldnt be modded to fit now, anything can be modded to fit if you have the skill set LOL! ;)

Wait a minute here... I thought you had a CAL-FAB on your KXT??? Please don't tell me you blew up the CAL-FAB! Have you sold or would you like to sell the CAL-FAB? Even if you blew it up, let me know.

If I remember right, I think 84 KXT is 4/100.

Tecate-4 has a different rear linkage and it also has an eccentric bearing carrier set-up similar to the Hondas.

It would take frame mods on your KXT frame to make the T4 swingarm work correctly. :TrikesOwn

I still have the Cal-FAB its just I dont want to mess it up since I do alot of jumping and hard riding. Id rather ruin a stock swinger than a rare one. Im not really interested in selling it yet but may in the future.
