The T3s stator finally went out. Im guessing the flywheel is screwed also considering the stator plate is totally loose. After pulling off the flywheel cover there are metal shavings. The stator plate isnt even held down its just jumping around. Now Ive got some questions for ya, when removing the flywheel itself is the flywheel bolt reverse threads or standard? Can you guys give me any tips? Im planning on getting a kx ignition for it, or I thought about using the electrical system from an older kx 125 Ive got laying around. What are the positives to using the kx ignition. Thanks.

well i think the nut is standard rotation. you will need a puller to get the flywheel off. i made one out of 3/8" thick steel. you can get a NEW stator and flywheel form www.rickystator.com for $200. i prefer the KX250 ignition system for the best performance. it is lighter, more output, revs faster, and the magnets are SCREWED on. you will need the stator, flywheel, and CDI. your coil will work. If you do want a kx250 ignition let me know. I have one $210 shipped. I also run the kx250 on my 86 tecate.
