atc330r speedway monster!! needs 11inch front hoosier or sim

if any one knows who or where i can get one please let me know!!

we still race trikes on speedway here in new zealand, only problem is we have to race in the open class, up against hot quads, i need all the help i can get.
i am going to 330 the 250r, really give it to those quads, wheel stand past them on the back straight?
would a plus 2 swing arm be better or worse for pitching the atc into highspeed turns?
any extra set up tips or mods for track racing would be sweet

A +4 inch rear end is probably the best compromise. It will take a little more to slide, but its not bad at all. You will gain quite a bit of stability. This along with an extended axle and your trike will rail through the corners. Anything more then +4 is a little bit of a gamble for much else other then dragging.

For flat track, the stock length is probably fine. You dont really need extened arms til you get jumping and the like.

I do not recommend an extended swing arm for speedway/flattracking . I use the stock length and I know some people go -1 inch . I would only extend a swingarm for dunes and drags . Anytime you are motoxing or flattracking I feel the shorter the better.

if i were you and wanting to slid around them corners better I would leave it stock and look into amn extended axel.

i currently am running a +4inch spacer on the out side and stock on the inside, i run 10inch rims with 18 X 10 inch hoosiers on the rear, i ve got a lowering strut and lower the ride height considerably, i also drop the forks in there mounts by about 2-2 1/2 inchs, i run either 14 or 15 front sprocket with 36 on the back.
i even lean out the fuel mixture to 70/1 for a bit more snot.
ive done all the usual motor mods
bored with new wisco, thin gasket to up compression
fmf pipe and silencer
mild port work
carbon reeds
the motor is super tight
even braided brake lines front and rear.....try and out brake the quads????
i want to try a front flat track tire? just nothing avail in 11inch, think i may have to custom a 10inch front rim to fit the 250r...
then 330 the baby

Definately go with the 10" front rim and then you will have lots of tire choices. There is nothing for the 11" that you would want for flat track.

I would say that you have a good set up all except the pipe... FMF to me are justover rated peices of trailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro. If you 330 it then I wouls go with the esr ATC5 pipe. heck i owuld go with that pipe anyway... best of luck to ya

I agree. Fmf is a decent oem replacement, but don't expect a huge gain from them.

Your best bet is the Esr Atc5 pipe. Other good pipes include the Paul turner series, and Lrd also makes a good pipes. I myself run a Bills, but I have yet to see a chart comparing it to the stock pipe.

Can you still get the Hoosier Tri-Trac for the rear directly from them? particularly the size that equals an 18" tire on a 10" rim? what about a straight groove front tire for a 10" rim like they used to run on the front of the three wheelers?

You should be able to switch that Honda over to a 10" rim no problem with some help from ITP or Douglas.
