maybe at one time it was a 200r, probably not now, I think that is a short track kit. if I read correct, most of the 200r's were a desleave and destroke making it hard to get replacement parts. the fate of many of these bikes is probably blown motors with no 200 cc replacement parts and they got changed back to 250's or are still sitting in sheds waiting to be found with blown motors. When the trike racing was outlawed many of the racers probably put all their aftermarket stuff and motors on the trx's and left the chassis to rot, sad, but think of how much trikes were valued in the late 80's and early 90's. Even look now the ex-race bikes today, they get sold to the general public and get ridden by the general public, which those bikes are way too powerfull and then get crashed and meet the same fate as the trikes, another thought where are all the ex-racing trx250r's from the late 80's and early 90's, I bet it would be cool to own one of them. I heard somewhere that honda crushed the majority of race bikes and sold a small portion to the public. Did kawaski do the same with the race tecate 3's and 4's as you don't see many tecates with aftermarket stuff, most are all stock. Also think about it, how many trikes got the crusher when the owner got hurt on the bike and the wife or mother saw a news report of those "dangerous trikes". I know there are a few people on this site with 81-84 300r cylinders without pistons or gaskets, think the 200r's were any different, thats got to be a much harder piston to find than a 300r.

Deathman,
the piston for my 200R are a dime a dozen. It is the same piston as every other 250R out there. The bore in mine has remained unchanged. Now the crank, that is a different story. It is a destroked crank. They did make a sleeve to reduce the bore and leave everything else the same. That is the cheaper and easier way,but not the better way.
And to everybodyelse that questioned my 200R seat, that seat is the exact same as the one on my 200R , so somebody was making the seat covers.
