Man oh man.... ever get in a rush to finish a job, cuz you're anxious to get going ?
Last night.. got my o'l 200es in the garage replacing the rear brakes, finally got around to it after spending a few days with the front wheel ( new rubber )
I jack her up, get the bottom protector plate off, remove the tire, try and try and try to remove the brake cover off the rear-end.. finally had to use some heat, in the form of a torch to warm up the silicone and get it off.
replaced the pads ( wich were not that worn, but since i had it apart, i replaced them ) and sealed her back up.
Put the plate back on, the tire, and adjusted the cables.. and as i push her out of the garage to try it out, i notice she's a little hard to push, i figure it's cuz new brake pads need to settle in ... HEHE..
So i fire it up and take it for a rip up the field, and notice a burning smell... then some smoke.. and i'm like ????????
So i get home, turn it off, and check things out.. i noticed my left side tire a little low on air, so i get the pump out and go to check the right side and can't find the valve ? !!!!
So it hits me i put the tire on backwards...... and she was a meltin on the pipe !!!!!... sheesh..
