More 3WW publicity

[ATC crazy]

If anyone gets the new September 2004 issue of Dirtwheels. Be sure to check out Page 38. Someone wrote in with a couple of pictures of 1981 Dirtwheels magazine covers with "WWW.3WHEELERWORLD.COM" stamped right across them. I guess we will be getting even more traffic through here once it gets out. :Bounce

I sent Dirtwheels some pics of my quad and asked if they'd put them in their mag along with a shout out to my friends at 3wheelerworld.com and exriders.com. Hopefully it makes it into the mag. :D

I'm kinda pissed at Dirtwheels still...Mis spelled my name, got my location all screwed up (Big stik, PA WTF?) and I had the address for 3ww in my letter to them and they edited it out when they printed it...Shoulda just stamped it on the damn picture.

What a bunch of tools ...... they couldn't even find a "good" copy of their own covers to print. I also noticed something else about that issue thats kind of bizzarre - read it from cover to cover and tell me if the editor is on drugs or out to lunch or on vacation or something .... tons of spelling mistakes for some reason.

... oh and Fox, good luck on getting those pics in the mag ... I seem to have no luck at all with them. I've sent them a good professional quality picture and write up at least 10 seperate times over the past 6 years of just about every trike and quad I've ever restored - never once had one in the readers rigs. God forbid they forgo showing the same cookie cutter chromed out dune Banshee thats in every issue, that everybody has out west, in order to print out a nicely restored 1990 LT250R or Tri-Z or ATC-R.

I've had a few letters in their mag and about 8 years ago had a pic of my very nice 85 200x in the parting shot section. Guess we'll see if they stick my ex in there or not.

that sucks and i know what you are saying thats all thats in there is banshees and some raptors its a rarity that a trike gets in there, you guys should at least right them a letter about that picture, out of all the pictures there was only 1 atc 250r and 1 200x,ill send in the same picture for however long until they put it in

i found 17 banshees just in the readers rigs and parting shots

lmao Tejas. I sent in an email to them with my own versions of the ATC450R and they still have not printed it. But I wouldnt expect too much from a magazine that is receiving about 10,000 seperate letters and emails per day!

BTW: On page 138 Readers Rides...the Blue and Black Banshee is owned by ondeeeznuts from Bluetraxx.

You know what Mint, thats the thing, their mother publisher Daisy/Hi-Torque is a little bit too conservative in the Bikini area and owned by a very religious family. They don't let any skin at all show in their mags ... which I really don't have a problem with because its about the sport not girls in rags. The girl wont help your chances.

How about all of us on the site here, sends them a pic or two of our old school rides!!! If they get 500 pics of 3 wheelers, they gotta put at least a few in, if not make a whole section about it!

I suggest sending pics of a bunch of trikes.. like the haspin group pics, the northwest guys group pics, and Im sending some MWT group pics. They seem to like big groups a lot more then plain old machine pics.

Do it.. I did. the only machine that comes close to the performance of a close to stock Tri Z or 250R Ive owned, is a YFZ450, Predator, and a little behind that is a stock banshee. No other "Sport" machines made today can compare to 15-18 year old technology. These huge tanks, the Raptor and DS650 is a joke compared to the Rs, Zs, and T3s.
