How do you adjust the chain on a '84 250R? I can't seem to figure it out.

Yeah dude, you got 2 Allen screws on the rear of your swing arm Left and right..Loosen both those up then move your chain adjuster witch is located just to the left of your sproket on the right side of your swingarm..Move that froward or backwards whatever way tightens it up..dont forget to tighten everything back up and lube your chain up :) GL

you need a spanner wrench. Honda does not make them any more so if you don't have one you can use, like i do a vice grip "c" clamp. Its better than trying to hit it with a hammer and screwdriver, I broke the tabs off this way and had to get a new adjuster

The Yamaha place ordered me a spanner wrench that goes on a 3/8ths ratchet just a couple of weeks ago so you can still get them....
