Hey I am getting a pretty nice 84 200m tomorrow and am planning on doing some serious mudding, its not as fun on the z so the 200 should be fun. Anyone else on here love to swamp em, if so do you have any pics and please post em here. Rob.

I have a half decent video of me mudding on my 200es, well there is more water than mud but its still good. I just need a way to host it. If anyone can help let me know.

mudding is fun but what i have just recently learned is if your mudding with a shaft driven machine, make sure you have a good way to clean your brakes, i had a big mess to clean when i shanged the brakes on my 84 big red, i must admit though, it sure is alot of fun and the reds have plenty of power and weight not to get stuck so a 200m should do about the same. have fun with, but just watch out for too much mud in the rear end,

VERY TRUE!!! Make sure you have good seals around your final drive...Got a 250sx that needs the rear end fluid drained after a couple hours of serious mudding...on the other hand my 250ES's rear end fluid looks brand new - and I've had that machine under water numerous times...
Forget the brakes on these things...there is simply no way of preventing mud and water from entering...The 250sx burned a new set of pads off in less than 5 hrs. riding time...ditto for the 250ES. I got tired of shimming and adjusting them after EVERY ride so now I go without rear brakes...I just worry about the front - and they suck too. Such a major flaw on these machines that drives me crazy...I'd love to stick a set of disc brakes off a 200x or something...

ive been thinking about a way to take the comversion kit from the foremen(drum to disk) and maybe modifying it to fit my big red.

The person that finally does this for the rear of SX or ES and would be able to reproduce them could make some good money. We all know that front end you can do 200X swap with some work but fabing a steering stop is not easy for us that can't weld. I can't even imagine what it would be like to be able to buy a conversion kit for the SX or ES an bolt on and go. Then you wouldn't have any worries about mud in your brakes.
What a dream that would be!!
