Parts Interchangability (alt)

Gidday,

Does anyone know if parts off a alt125 will work on the alt185? Im mainly talking about engine parts. Will the top end interchange?

I have a chance to pick up an alt125 for 500 buks, that is running and this guy i know has the 185 (needs the top end done cause of a roasted cam etc etc. He wants to get the 185 running because it is a bigger bike and has a big rack on it so it is better for farm work.

Can anyone help me here?

The only difference I know of is the cylinder bore. I have swapped heads, cases and other parts without a problem. ;)

Thanks Howdy. So the cam, cam chain, head and cam sprocket should interchange?
