I built an xr200x about 10 month or so ago? I love the extra gear. You will need a complete xr200 transmission, including the shifter rod and the shifter barrel. You will use the 200x kick start shaft and put the xr200 gears on it so that it will work with the 200x case. The conversion is pretty straight forward for anyone that has split cases before. I am using an xr200 piston, 26mm carb, 200x cases, 200x jug, 200x head, xr200 intake. 200x cam. All are pretty much bolt and go. The air box boot is a little tight going onto the 26mm carb but it will make it. I am also using a 185 front sprocket retainer and 11 tooth sprocket. No chain rub on the sprocket. I do most of my riding in the Ozark mountain terrain. Very few areas to go all out on speed but lots of hills and trails.

and i need to know if i can use my brake pedal and shifter.
You will have to split the cases on the xr bottom end and install the main kickstarter shaft from the 200x. You will need to pull the gear off the 200x shaft and install the xr gear on it. Every thing else will bolt right on Brake pedal and shifter. You will be using the right hand case cover off of the 200x.

but i jsut wnat to put the complete xr200 bottom end and use my 200x top end. can i use my stuff with that. i dotn want to just add the gear to my 200x motor.
The reason you have to change the starter gear and use the right side case off of a 200x motor is that an xr200 is a rear kick motor. By changing the starter gear and using the 200x right side case you will retain your forward kick. Try to use the xr200 piston it will give you a little more compression.
