If it hasn't come out yet, it probably won't. You'll need to cut it in pieces between the swingarm & frame. If you've been pounding on it, you'll need a new bolt anyway. Plan on spending $50 for the bolt through Honda plus new bearings, bushings & seals. Good luck!

I have a new bolt and nut I just orderd for my 86 250r and am not going to use it. If it will work on yours PM me will sell it for $30 and some shipping. the bolt is for a 400EX but is the same as 250r. I can send you the sizes if intersted.

If a sledge won't move it, you'll have to cut the axle out as mentioned above, and have the remains pressed out.

wait before you start cutting you could try to drill it out with a big drill

If it's a 200x the 250r bolt is bigger. 200x or 350x 14mm 250r 15mm
I you need a swing kit I sell them for the 83/85 200x, 86/87 200x, 85/86 350x
out of used bolts.

I had problems with a bolt on a 200x before.....what i ended up doing was heating the swingarm (where the bolt goes through) and beating the h*ll out of the bolt.....it finally broke loose! if that doesnt work....i dont know what to tell you!

If you must resort to cutting, forget the torch and sawzall. Use a small angle grinder with a 1/16 disc. It's a much faster system, and will have better results.

go to Napa or some other parts store and see if they have any stuff called Aero Kroil it is in and orange can. That stuff is great. The bolt will mushroom at the end and you will never get it out. good luck, been there.

Air chisel never fails.

I used to be a slave to the sledge myself untill I was going nuts over the same project and a buddy came over with his air chisel and drove it out in about 5 seconds.

Air chisels are great, I've sheared the top off of a Chevy Sprint with ours lol.

Center punch and a mall (sledge hammer) should do the trick but apparently not.

If you still need a bolt let me know. As far as kroil I believe in it, and won't use anything else. I got a 110 front axle soaking now for 2 weeks, it keeps disapearing so I keep spraying it on.
