Cranked up the black z this morning, and noticed it was running slugish. Then noticed that almost no exhaust was conning from the muffler. It was leaking around the joint of the muffler and pipe. I remover the rr. baffle from the muffler and do not see any blockage but lots of oil and carbon. Any idea how to un-stop this muffler?

hey, if it's a steel muffler, you can take it off the trike and burn it out with a propane torch. do it outside, cause it will smoke a lot.

If it's the stock Tri-Z muffler/spark arrestor, those are pretty large & are often mistaken for trash cans. Take a peak out back & make sure no one has put some trash in it.

Sorry I don't have any real advice, but I do have tons of sarcasm. :D
Good luck, hope you get it figured out soon.

That's fine TTribaLL, if you can find a reason to talk trash about a 250R, feel free. We're all friends here that are just having a good time.

The stock muffler does seem to be abnormally large when compared to most everything else....

Yep, I is a stock muffler. Not planning to sink the cost of a new exhaust into this bike. If I am gonna spend on something it will be a 350x or 250r.

Just do like the last owner of my tri-z did, weld some soup cans together and slap it on. :D I am not joking either!
