84 big red help

Hi i tooke the air box off my big red and ran the filter of the tub from the carb and now it revs way high even when the idle jet is out of the carb, i need help and quick i need it running before the weekend. thanks, Eric

never mind, i figured what was wrong, when i took the slide of the carb i held the boot andwhen i held the boot i also turned the adjustment screw and it pulled the slide up, so i just adjusted it to wher it was goodand she runs fine now, lots more power too, anyone else know of any sheap hop ups for a big red
