i ordered over 400 bucks in parts one time. and id say it took somewhere close to a month to get them. i think it sucks haveing to wait..but i guess its better waiting for brand new parts instead of going to ebay and buying a used one that wont last.

If its liek Bikebandit........and they send it freakin UPS (which is cheaper and slower than USPS) it ougtha be around 2 weeks.
I dont see why USPS doesnt offer some sort of deal for large shippers.........but then again you have to deal with the corrupt USPS Employees....I almost came over the desk at this one old trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro yesterday. Thinks she rules the world and everyone is HER bi0tch. She'll get hers though.

I ordered from them once and got my stuff two days later. I would give them a call if it takes longer than normal shipping time from them to you. If they dont process your order by the next day, its likely that one of the items you have ordered is on backorder.

Although some people have said they have had bad experiance with dennis kirk, i like them. I know they dont handle all the OEM parts that other places do, you get your stuff fast (this might have to do with the fact that there headquarters is about 60 to 80 miles away). If they have the part in stock, and i call at 4:00 PM, its here at 10:00 AM the next, never fails unless its out of stock.

I won't mail order OEM parts. I don't see the point saving a buck or two if you have to wait that long. I've never waited over 4 days for a honda part from a dealer.

Your dealer orders the parts from the wharehouse, and they arrive via UPS or Fedex Ground usually. If you order from Service Honda, they order them from the wharehouse, and have them drop shipped directly to you, which is why they sell lower - They never actually stock or handle the parts. The parts ship from Michigan. Other OEM part houses may operate differently, but Ive never waited for than 2 days for parts from Service Honda here, and I dont pay dealer markup for them to run them through their books, and I dont have to go pick them up at the dealer. I only use the dealer for Honda parts when I need it immediatly, and they have it in stock. If you live in a different part of the country, your dealer may use a closer wharehouse, but for guys in the Midwest, ServiceHonda will be just as fast, or faster than your dealer.

I tell people four to ten days when ordering OEM parts. You never know when they are backordered and if I had to call and check stock on every part I ordered it would take way too long. We do all of em, Yamha, Suzuki, Poo-laris, Honda, Kawasaki, Sea poo, Ski poo.. etc. snowmobiles atvs and watercraft. we keep retail prices reasonable but it does suck looking up OEM parts for a 1978 Artic cat somethin or another takes up too much of my time.

If your are ordering Yamaha parts from them I don't think its their fault unless they have it in stock anything from Yamaha takes at least a weak!
I ordered a tri-z part from Kearney Yamaha and it took 4 months for it to get here, so Yamaha needs to be held to blame if you are ordering from them!
