I would go with some maxxis sur traks or some mudlites, what kind of trike are you putting them on?(I am assuming that you have a yamaha yt 175)and since that is a smaller trike with pretty small tires on it then I wouldnt put anything that is too big on it.what are on it for stock tires?size?

Heres a link to some good mud/snow tires.

Check out the Maxxis sur traks. That's what I run, and I never get stuck. The're a nice lightweight mud/snow/sand tire. There a little pricey on that site, but they can be found cheaper elsewhere. The treads clean up nice with a little spin, and they still allow you to slide a turn. Great tire IMO

Ditto! These tires will hook up in just about anything. If they are too big for your machine...I would also look into the Maxxis All-tracks

The stock size is 22*11*8. I've been told that a wider tire can be put on the rims.(8*8)or so???
