Ok here is the deal bought a 73 Yamaha rt-360 Brought it home cleaned the carb up put in a fresh plug. Fresh gas and Kick....Kick......Choke....Kick....Kick.....Fire.. ...Vrooom......Ok it's running but idle is way high at first till it warms up them drops down to less than a grand and has a hard time staying running and dies If you dont keep goosing the throttle. When I ride it at low rpms and lower gears it stutters and loads up once the speed builds up it cleans out and gets up on the pipe takes off. I must admit for a 31 year old bike this thing scoots. Bike keeps fouling plugs and wont rev down low. Bike is running a #30 Pilot jet Main is unknown there is no markings on it but I assume that its stock. Bike fouls plugs and stutters low rpms idle is high runs like crap you select the next gear and it stutters catches up with it's self and smoothes out.WTF? You have ideas I am new to two strokes! Thank you for your time and consideration.

my dad has a 74 MX360 thats very similar. i think your pipe is choked up with carbon making the bike rich so it fouls plugs and loads up. i think it would have a large muffler that basicly the whole pipe. with a chrome gaurd that has 360 in the middle of it. i know my dad used to to clean those pipes back in the day with a piece of chain long enough to go into the muffler attatched to a drill. i've also heard using a torch to burn it out works but is a messy smelly operation.
