What kind of nut holds the clutch basket on?? What socket, tool do i need to get it off. Can i get it at an automotive place or is it a honda only part? Also is the nut regular or reversed thread? Thanks

It takes a special socket. You can make one from an old regular socket or buy one from Dennis Kirk. this wouldn't happen to be on your wife's ride would it?

it's normal thread steve ,,, righty tighty - lefty loosey. insert a penny into the gears to make it hold still when trying to loosen or tighten.

you will need the same tool to first take off the oil pump nut before you can take the clutch basket off.
like 200xman said ,,,, very easy to make your own. i did and it has held up to sevral clutch jobs on honda motors. i found a 7/8ths socket to be the ideal starting point.
i think i've heard from other post it's only about a 16 dollar tool if you decide to buy one.

Now that I see the tool John made I might have something that will work. Give ma a call and I'll help you out.

Do you think you have the tool? And do you have a manual for the 200X?
