i finally got my NEW cam from honda for my 200x. i ordered a cam, bearing, and what i thought was a dowel pin. anyway i took the bushing out of the package and it had a dowel pin already in it....strange i thought, so what is the dowel pin i ordered? It's a tiny and i mean TINY pin that looks like it fits inside the dowel pin on the bearing. Can someone tell me what this does? Thanks.

that might be the pin that holds the pulse generator from rotating in the cam

when i took my old worn cam out, the bearing had no nubby dowel pin sticking out of it. I assumed it had fallen off, I think what really happened is it actually wore off. So, I thought I had to order a bearing AND dowel pin, not knowing that the dowel pin is actually part of the bearing.

With all that out of the way, can someone tell me what this "pin" is?
