Has anybody else had the heartbreaking thought of selling their bike. My bike is not a run of the mill 250R. I have about $6000 in it. Fully restored,Powdercoated frame ,rebuilt motor, all new OEM Honda plastic, chromed everything, original tires,The best of everything. It is the kind of bike I would probably never take all the time and money to build again. With these Hurricanes that have come through Florida,it has taken a toll on my business and I could use the money to buy some things that would make me money. But I love that bike, I wont even get it dirty. It lives covered in the garage waiting for a nice sunny day.I dont want to sell it,and won't sell it cheap. But if the right offer came up I would shead a tear and kiss it good by. Oh yea to see my bike look at READERS RIGS page 9 it is the 8th bike down. And no the 200R or Tiger will never be for sale.

Don't sell it! Some things can never be replaced.

Believe me....I've been in your shoes before, financially, and "sure could use the money" only to regret the sale later.
Just remember....good 250R's are getting harder and harder to find.
And you'll have to do the whole restoration over again.
Parts aren't getting cheaper as the years go by....heck, some risk being discontinued.
Good luck.
I sure hope you can keep it.

Just think of what you have in it and what you will really get for it. I don't mean that price that sounds good to you I mean the one you will get. It's not worth it and these things that will make you money, will you get more than $6000 from them? If not then your still at a loss.

EXCELLENT point.
NO offense intended but you have $6K in it, you KNOW you won't get that out of it by a LONG shot.
So it's a serious loss and a hard stretch to "make the loss back".
Another excellent reason to keep it! ;)
