I have a YTM200E and i was wondering why that when i get into 5th gear that i can get her revved up real high. It revs right to the max in all other gears.

trying having the back end in the air (suspended from ceiling, or on some jacks, but so the axle can move) and then giver her then, see if it revs alot, if it doesnt then it might be something in your carb? thats the only thing i can think of
How much do you weigh?? will it not rev really high going down a semi steep hill?

I would guess that it is a carb problem too. The ratio between the engine and the tires turning is the closest in 5th so the engine has to work the hardest to keep speed. If you carb is mis-adjusted, you may not be producing enough power to get up in the RPMs. Check your for air leaks or restrictions, fuel level, jet setting, richness.... Good luck.
