i'm finishing up my 200x project FINALLY and I have a crappy twist throttle i plan on replacing anyway. Well I take my brand new honda cable and try to fit it in the twist throttle and find that the head on the end of the cable is too big for the body of the twist throttle to fit over it. I compare it to the head on the old cable and I see it's like twice as long  WTF? So do twist throttles usually come with their own cable or should I just grind this down?

For most bikes the twist and thumb throttles use an entirely different cable. I dont know it you could adapt a thumb throttle cable to fit the twist.

I'm sure I could, all i have to do is grind the head down a little bit. But I prefer a thumb throttle and if I do grind it down i think it'll be to small for a thumb throttle.
