yeah you can tell it's the frame from the motorcycle just by looking how the chain cover lines up to the frame perfect...Also with that much power it would still suck in the trails you couldn't go any faster on that then a 200 could go without suspension, plus i wouldn't wanna roll that on me in the trails or roll it at all you'd never get it back on it's wheeles..

Man...that has got to be one of the cleanest conversions I have ever seen. It looks factory!

On second thought, that may be a Yamaha XJ 550 SECA. Basically the same engine as the Maxim, but with a different look as far as the frame, tank, and body. Here's a pic of my Maxim (btw, this was taken when I first got it, it is now cleaned up real nice, re-wired, and runs strong!!)

How about this one....This is a friend of mines 81 750X....Motorcycle Frame and the 350X front and rear Bolt right on...Only mods were the rerouting the Exhaust. From what he told me...Ive havent rode this thing yet but been riding with him and the freakin thing is fast....Even out in the Sand and Whoops he is just flat gone....

The 350x with full suspension is scary enough, a 550 hard tail???

who ever opens that up on a trail has a brass set, and after the ride, most likey a bruised pair as well, lol

but they did an awesome job on it, looks like the bought it that way

I think you will find the 550 is not a converted bike. It looks like the 200 trike rolling frame was used with the bike engine cradle adapted to the trike frame.

Here is a usable but HEAVY conversion. It was up on ebay a few years ago. If I remember right it is a 350x with a '75 cb750 engine, custom made tank, and I am sure a lot more. They said that it was made by Honda certified mechanics for the fun of it.

That looks just like my new bike. I have an '82 Virago 920. Basically the same design except with a 920cc twin in stead of the 550 4-cyl.
