They only made 2 years in any real numbers. 1985 and 86. The 1985 model has the red plastics and white tank. The 86 is mostly white. Mechanically the only difference that I'm aware of is the 1986 model has a compression release for a little easier starting.

I don't think you can go wrong. The only problem I've really heard was the frame cracking on the left hand side just above the front sprocket. I'm not sure if thats just on the 85 or the 86 or both. They are a fun trike to have when riding with the family, or up trail riding in the woods, they chug over anything. They are simple to work on and parts seem to be everywhere for them also. The 250sx is a nice trike to have also, If I lived closer to you I would have jumped all over the 2 you found down there.

If I'm not mistaken.
My '85 does.
Believe me....when that cable breaks it's like trying to kick over a Harley!!

TWO THUMBS UP FOR 350X's.

I love mine to death...reliable, PLENTY of power, easy/cheap to maintain and it's BIG enough for a 6'+ tall person like myself. :D

Go for it...you won't regret it....unless you end up with one that's worn out.
