i just rang my local shop and enquired about some work on my head...mild port job, valve grind and just a general cleanup. they quoted me $102. do you guys think this is a fair price or way too high. also, would a automotive engineer do the work for me.
cheers,
ned

sounds good to me,but i'm not really sure if thats good or not in my opinion i'd pay that no problem..at least if they mess up your head they have to replace or fix it .

yea...i think i really need this done cause this bike hasnt been serviced or anything in its whole life...i even doubt the owners before me even changed the oil. its history is the typical farm story...they got the bike to do the chores around the farm, the kids have got it and thrashed it and then its not run so they left it in some dingy shed.
sounds pretty good to me...btw thats what happend to my atc 90..the guy who had it befor me hadent changed the oil in 10 YEARs..lol just kept adding to it..
