Will a 38 mm flat slide carb off an 85-86 250r work on an 84-85 tecate? If anybody knows about carb options for 84-85 tecate, please reply. I want to put a larger than stock carb on my kxt.

Yes it should work but if it's a stock 250R carb it's a 34mm not a 38.

Oh yeah, you'll probably need to rejet too.
