Kawasaki KFX 50 Mods

Does anyone know of any aftermarket hop up mods or have any tips to increase performance of a Kawasaki KFX 50 or Suzuki Quadsport 50?

FMF and GRAYDON PROLINE make pipes for them.you can also take out the restrictors in them .there is a washer in the head pipe where it connects into the cylinder that you can take out.there is also a collar in the carb where it connects into the elbow on the side of the cylinder that you can remove.just removing the restrictors will help alot.i also drilled some holes in the airbox when i added the FMF pipe to my sons.

Thanks 3tigers. I've removed the restrictor plate from the cylinder/exhaust port and have backed the limiter screw all the way out. I didn't know there was anything in the carb though and the owners manual doesn't mention it either. Air box holes were next on my to do list though. I'll also check out the FMF set up.

The guys at the drag races have the Tiwanese Minis and there is a wire that they cut and it allows the engine to Rev. You may want to check into the same thing on the Kawi. Just a suggestion. Also, here is a

I had my sons SUzuki 50 done up a bit and it was a nite and day diffrence over stock,I had all the restrictors out and had it port and polished and had the head milled 10 thousandths. Made a big diffrence.Heres a link for ya that might help too http://www.miniquadracing.com/Default.asp.

i have the kfx 50 for my kids and i dont know anything about the carb did you do it or a pic where it is thanks

that limiter screw is that the one on the throttle and does anybody know anything about the plate or something in the carb .anything would help .
